I'd go for long and less depth. Why... Cause less depth that your lighting has to pentrate! A popular tank here is a 20 long! Then again it all pends on what kind of corals your going for too. :mrgreen:

Second what aquemeni5110 suggests! Great heater plus shatter proof and has some kind of circuit to shut off if its exposed to air.... something like that. Basically, I love it... :mrgreen:

babiighurll, Just take into account the heat that these lights produce! My buddy has one and it heated up his small living room! He has the Viper 150, its the older model if they have newer ones out. Had to put my two cents in cause I never thought of the heat it produces until I was there...

Jesse, I do have it on it own outlet which the timer is hooked up to. The other outlet has a pwerstrip with everything else hooked up to that. Is that okay? Thanks
