false . a tang will grow in that size tank, if it even survives. you cannot keep a tang in a 24 gal, that is a death sentence. tangs should be kept ideally in a 100 gal or larger established tank. the clown you would be ok with. I am not trying to be mean, but please reconsider a tang.

I would think that the 10w would be ok but you could try the 20w drill some extra vent holes around to allow for cooling

a goby and a shrimp pair I dont see a problem with them in a 10 gallon people do it in smaller tanks :-)

what about a 7 gallon bow front eventually you would need to upgrade lights but they are not that expensive. I have seen stock 10 gallons with upgraded lights for under 200 dollars

drty811 I may be a little late at this stage to add any input but some where I read that you can use garlic gels from walmart (make sure it is garlic only) we treat our tank 1 time a month as a preventive , what we do is cut the gel tab open squeeze onto food let soak over night feed next...

wow you are gonna have a rocking tank ! for the moon lights you could go to the local auto parts store and get what they call "molding tape" it holds in a varity of conditions , we use it on ours and it can be removed with goo gone if you need to remount them . we dont have "real" moon lights...

The wattage that they are comparing to is the same as a household wattage comparison ie 25 watt mini flourescent is = to that of a 100 watt incandescent light bulb or to that nature the wattage that you should go by is the 10 watts it is all very confusing but they are compairing the total out...

2 questions here 1st we have a bunch of brislte worms that are reaching big lengths 4inches and greater {when streached out}I am getting out what I can , is there a homemade trap for these vermin . At that length could they be killing my shrimps and fish ? I lost a chromis over the weekend...
