    I thought that too but I was thinking that the admin of the board could turn off certin abilities such as voting pming ect so allow for them to register but have to have at least 25 posts before turning that option on for them :?:

    John I think that you are probably safe they dont use mercury anymore in them . I think that they are just a coil that tightens and releases upon heating and cooling , the death of the anemone was probably due to the fluctuations in temp , as for chemicals I am pretty sure they no longer use...

    generally speaking they all get quite big but I have found the sebae's grow fairly slowly . If you add them to a tank especially a nano be prepared for them to walk around to find a place that they like ,they also tend to sting surrounding corals . And they require lots of light I currently have...

    Aiptasia? Do I need to be worried about getting rid of them?

    I think that some one on here has suggested using a syringe with boiling water and inject to the base of it , but yes you do want to rid it since it can and will kill other corals :-) Also peppermint shrimp do eat aptasia but they can also munch on polyps hope this helps some :-)

    Hi welcome to nanotank :-) The fleas you noticed are probably a copepods that you are seeing they are harmeless and if fact show the start of a healthy system.........As for the algae blooms they are probably a cyno and can be controled by increasing your h20 flow and siphoning some of it off...
