That's the aggressiveness that was mentioned before. I'd keep an eye on him with the other fish in the tank to make sure its just the hermits that he's picking on. :sad:

There are many different kinds of heaters out there, you should read up on the varias kinds to give you an idea of what will work best for you in your setup. Basic defference between the plastic and glass heaters is that one breaks easier :mrgreen:

I'd advise against the gravel and stick with the sand, the gravel will only trap waste and cause problems down the road. :-)
