Thank you :D I have had good luck with the coraline. For the longest time I had no backing on the tank and then finaly got around to making a removable cover. I noticed once the light could not escape it grows faster! Thanks again!

Thanks Ed! The fixture is a Coralife and has the 2-150 HQI, 2-96 actinic and 3 moon lights. It came with 10K bulbs and is what I can thank for the growth that I have had. I just made the change to 14K Phoenix bulbs about 6 weeks ago. I am really happy with the color and havn't seen any...

Thanks Tim! That hammer started out with only two heads and in the past 4-6 mnths has grown to over 12 heads. I have been breaking some of them apart to trade in on SPS. I have had really good luck with that coral.

You complained about me taking so long, so....... where are the pics of the new setup. I have to see them through here because who knows when I'll get down there again.

I really don't want to run a Sterilizer myself; however, I currently have a Purple Tang which I love, but has ick, or some kind of parasite. I have been feeding the tank w/garlic and understand that it only prolongs his life not cures him. Is there anything else I can do, I quess besides a...

I have been tossing around the idea of getting a UV Sterilizer for my tank and what I am looking at is the JBJ 7W. I like this because of its simplicity, but that can also lead to problems. Does anyone have any experience with this product, or know someone that does? Here is a link to Marine...

I don't see the hammerhead in the recent pics, but if you still have it is a great coral as far as I am concerned. I have have a lot of luck with mine. In the last 8 months it has more than quadrupled in size. Best of luck...

I am sure that will be enough light for what you are planning now....but I would go as much and as big as you can afford. Before you know it you will be changing things and want to keep more high light corals. Just an idea...I change my mind like every month. Softies...LPS...SPS...never ends...
