    sorry for your lose. i kept both togther for sometime (about seven months) and had no problems. until my last move is when i lost both my wrasse and the sexies, they didnt like to travel. :cry:

    sorry i didnt specify. i didnt when i feed my fish (larger food particles) but when i fed liquid foods i turned off skimmer. i did leave one PH on so my fish had to work to get there food, nobody wants a fat fish.lol :mrgreen:

    at this time i dont have any fans running.....dialed my heater in and all day my temp has stayed at 79.5*. windows closed, room temp. a comfortable 65*. this summer with teh heat we had, the highest my tank got 84* w/o fan. i live on great lake erie so the breeze off the lake blows right through...

    yeah its normal, you will also get them when you feed the tank, or the chemistry of the water changes. i noticed when i had mine, when i stuck my hand in the tank it would start to put out bubbles.

    i would stear away from the eclipse systems, doesnt have the right lighting and not enough filtering. i would stick with the JBJ 6g or 12g, and the aquapod brand. JMO

    ten gallon

    well after 6 hours with the MH on, my water temp only went up to 81.5*. which i can totally live with two degrees over that time. ill have a fan hooked up to a controller in the summer months, maybe two.
