    i concur with skip's statement. i too had a ten gallon, with the numbers he stated. i found smaller hermits do a better job then the larger ones, the larger ones get lazy and wait till you feed the tank. HTH

    Has anyone made 'legs' for Coralife 18W 9"

    i have a four legs from another light fixture, if you want them ill send them to you. you could modify them and glue them or something. i think the legs came from an orbit fixture, they are smaller than the coralife ones and they are black.

    they could be mysis shrimp..... or peppermints....or another species of shrimp. mantis and pistols dont tend to swim around the tank. HTH

    CRABS!

    i have had acouple emeralds in the past. i found them to be very agressive when they grow larger, also like rescuediver stated, knocking everything over. they are very strong little crabs, even when they are very small. didnt really ever notice them doing a good job on cleaning the algae. HTH

    i am in the range of 1.020 - 1.022, usually closer to 1.020. i keep it low so it doesnt get to high due to evap.
