    Digi-lab Digital Handheld Tester

Sadie, it's supposably the best thing out on the market for accurate readings, so I bought it :) My bro has a refractometer, but when he came down to visit, he just loved the handheld tester! Go towards that and ditch the swing arm inaccuracy to the curb as I did! :)

    djconn's 6 gal nanocube

the moonlights are are small cheapy bulbs, they aren't high intensity or anything.. just a dull blue. With a creative mind you could replace them with a more high intensity blue bulb.

    djconn's 6 gal nanocube

Dj, sorry I have missed this post, but hey....is that the 2006 model? I was hoping you held out for it. Youd know cuz the back of it, shows a stick with the manufactured date. That pump that comes in the 2006 is better than the mini-jet 606. Also your light upgrade from nanocustoms has...

    Cleaning your Nanocube

stock jbj magnet does the trick for most of it, for the harder stuff that's grown, I use a little hand scraper and get my hands in there and scrape it out. Lastly I have this plastic scraper on a stick that helps too.

    R.I.P

Sorry for the loss, but at least we were able to tell you it would happen through experience. At least it should be a little easier to just feed one many as opposed to two. If you are lucky you might have it live a couple months more of life. My record was 6 months....

Setting up a small Nano Tank

the 25 watter should be fine, just as long as you can fit it, you know? I've seen the Redsea wave, but when I went with a pico tank, I chose the Redsea Melody, had a better look to it that I liked :)

    FISSION Nano-Protein Skimmer...

i suck at DIY projects, so wish I could say I could help. When buyinig the product, you are really on your own unless you can get somebody with experience to help you or just do it themselves. I'd try removing the stuff in chamber three so it just has the pump in there, and see if you can...

Here is the low down on my 6er! JBJ 6 gallon Nanocube I started my tank back in March of this year, and stocked with 5.5lbs of Fiji live rock, also has a good piece of Tonga branch live rock which is hidden as it's used to help accomodate my other pieces of live rock. I have 10lbs of...

Are my Oscellaris likely to jump?

Not just that, when the fish fight, they try and get away, and by them darting as they do, they end up jumping out by accident, only because they were trying to evade an attack.

72 Oceanic Reef Ready Bow Front Evolution...

I'd say, when I heard about it, I almost fainted. That pair cost me 100 bucks!! Raised them since they were tiny juveniles. Take care of them mike, and watch my female, she likes to reign as the queen of the tank, hehe.

    Heres a few new pics.

you'd be surprised how much less maintenance it is when you have less fish, and feed less. That's why I gave up my prized clowns pair to my brother mike. a nice happy home to the 72 gallon bowfront.

2005 Fall Contest - Vote for the winner

I've ID'd one of the pics that was disqualified, tank # 3. I wont put them on blast or anything. Just know who it was from others postings. Tank #10 I am still unsure though who that was. My suggestion for future contests. "turn off signing up for new members" during the duration of the...
