How and how long to cure LR?

If you put your nose right down at the surface of the water in the holding tank and give it a sniff, you can usually tell how well the rock is cured. Salfert is a great brand for most tests. Jesse

Appropiate fish for a 29 Tank.

Three fish is pushing the tank, especially with two of them being a pair of clowns that will both get about 3"-6" each. Amenones are not a wise choice either because of the care that most of them require. Corals like most corallimorphs, zoanthids, palys, etc would be fine in a stock biocube...

How and how long to cure LR?

I would start by scrubbing it in some saltwater to remove as much of the dead/rotting material as possible. From there, you could put it right into the tank you are setting up, but you wouldnt want any sand in there. Sand would just collect alot of the stuff that will inevitably die off. So...

    Live Rock Surprise!

Appropiate fish for a 29 Tank.

:welcome to nanotank.com if I havent welcomed you yet. The livestock you chose for your tank are inappropriate. Two perculas would be great for this tank. However, you have way too many fish. The tangs should not be put in this tank. If you have already paid for them, see if you can use...

What is the best fish for eliminating algae?

if you are using a soft brush like a toothbrush, scrubbing the zoas wont even hurt them. You just have to make sure they are all closed before you scrub the rock. This should help alot. Jesse

    Jesse's 20L+20L fuge...

The shrooms were not attached to much so they were just floating around the tank. The bottle cap just helps to keep them in place until the attach to a larger piece of rock. I have the loose paly polyp in a similar container until it attaches itself. The white boxes are my timers. I have...
