    aquaclear 50 refiguim

Yeah, you can always throw in a filter pad or carbon pad if you needed to. I would just run it without but that is just my opinion. I'd get the biggest one you could find for your 20 gallon by the way. You will prob. need to change out the impeller as mentioned in an earlier post.

Should I turn off filter while feed'g Live Phytoplankton?

Yes, I think some reefers call that the 'soaking' method. I do it when I feed. I'd turn your filter off and maybe even one powerhead if you've got two in your tank just to let your corals absorb everything. After and hour or so, I'd turn everything back on.

    nanocube lighting

Okay, I see now... I'm not a good person for nanocube lighting mods questions. I'd wait to Mike G or Dragon79 to chime in here. They should know a lot more.

Okay, I'm in Day 3 of Cycling...how long do I wait?

Depending on the quality & stage of your live rock (cured vs. uncured), simple die-off from transporting your rock/sand will start a cycle in your tank. Yes, the idea is to limit the algae blooms in your tank by keeping your lights off.

    nanocube lighting

Are you planning on keeping corals in the tank? If so, the stock lighting is the bare minimum and I would suggest upgrading to a new hood retrofitted by Nanocustoms.com. Then you would solve both problems with one purchase. :lol3:

    Attended frag meet in Columbus,Ohio

I'd like to see a few pics of your frags when you get them in your tank. I love seeing nice 'steals' from frag swaps. Are yuu going to this: http://www.nanotank.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1629

    keeping saltwater

You could probaby just throw a powerhead in the bucket and keep it out of direct sunlight. Should last weeks, if not longer, that way IMO.

    my new 5.5

I have 32wX2 under my 5.5 (64watts) and I don't think I will try a clam. That is just my opinion though. I had 130w over my 20 and kept a clam for over a 1.5 yrs and it was as healthy as can be so go figure. MH would def. be the solution if you really wanted clams in your nano.

Okay, I'm in Day 3 of Cycling...how long do I wait?

Sounds like you're on the right track April. Most cycles can take 2-6 weeks depending on your rock. I'd just play the waiting game a few more weeks and continue to test. When everything levels off and zeros out, you are ready to go. The worst thing you can do right now is jump the gun...

    Moving a tank

A few more tips... 1) Have your newly-made SW ready at the new location so its ready when you get there. You will be tired and shouldn't have to mess with making up SW at this point. 2) Use coolers for coral transport whenever possible and buckets for LR. Coolers will help keep the water...
