Well, it was a real long and HOT summer here in Texas so everything flowered really late. Needless to say, we got nailed by that last front that came though and temps dipped into the 20s. This is what I salvaged...not bad for my first time :mrgreen:

Will a regular old twister magnet work? I've got tons of them and they are very slim and can fit in between rocks and the glass. I guess the nanocubes really are made out of glass then huh?

My model is the 2005 version. I didn't want to redo my 5.5 or keep all of my corals in a bucket any longer so I just went with it. I'm pretty sure I could always just order the improved pump from JBJ if I wanted to. Other than that, I don't think there are any more improvements. I was happy...

Are the JBJ nanocubes really glass? I thought all along that they were acrylic. What do you guys use to clean the algae off in your cubes without scratching the surface?
