    Fuge for 5 hex.

Not sure how much flow you are planning but if you put LS or LR I would baffle the outlet side of the sump rather than input. This will help keep debris/bubbles from entering your pump. Also I would put a prefilter on your pump so don't forget about increased footprint of the pump if you do.

    Planning a 15 gal Nanoreef

Sounds like you know what you're getting into. What do you plan to keep in the tank. Sounds like a nice setup.

What is the best fish for eliminating algae?

Chances are that you won't show any phosphates because the algae is consuming it all. Here's what I would do. Test any water going into your tank. If it reads 0 then I wouldn't do anything. Let the algae starve itself. Limit your feeding as much as possible and reduce lighting to only...

    Limp coral

Typically I acclimate/introduce corals the same way I would fish. I float the bag for 10-15 minutes then add a small amount of water every 10 minutes, until the water in the bag closely matches my tank. This lets the specimen adjust to the water parameters and temperature much more slowly...

    29g Trogdor's Paradise

No because I have yet to see any data that shows that a plenum adds much to a tank. I did add PVC to pull the live rock off of the top of the sand bed. This allows water to flow under the rocks and keeps dead spots from forming in the sand bed.

    29g Trogdor's Paradise

Here are a few pics of the new plumbing. Forgot to add these awhile back. I know that the intake hose is a bit long but it was the first one that i cut and i didn't want to be short. I plan on shortening it when I tear down the pump in a few months for cleaning.

Sponge Filter, Ceramic Rings, and Carbon?

Bioballs is a good idea gone bad. The idea behind them is to add a 'pseudo' natural filtration, similar to the way your live rock works, with surface area. The theory is that the more surface area you have, the more bacteria that can grow and add to your filtration. But what happens is these...

    bubbles

I don't see why you would unless they are being blown all around your tank. Any reason why you chose to use an air line vs pointing a power head at the surface? just curious
