6g Nanocube overheating issue - HELP!

All through the colder months this year my new NC6 has been doing okay temperature-wise. My biggest fluctuation was from 78 to about 82 which is expected with a modded NC. With the Texas summer heat moving in, my tank reached 85.6 degrees today! The tank is modded by nanocustoms and he...

Yasha Goby/Pistol Shrimp Pair - your thoughts?

So I've been doing a lot of research and I've decided on a Yasha Goby/Randalls Pistol Shrimp combo for my new NC6. The tank is nice and settled so I'm ready to introduce fish after waiting three months. The best deal I've found is at Marinedepotlive.com for about $100. So my questions: 1)...

    Chatroom Plz

I always just go there right when I login. I'm in there as I type this. Its pretty cool b/c you can hit Nanochat and it will open a new window (which I usually minimize) and it makes a chime when someone else comes in. I wish more folks went there as well. We usually have a few scheduled...

Easiest Coral for us studying for first purchase

My hammer coral was actually one of the earliest additions to my 20 gallon tank. I had it for over 3 yrs before selling it. You'd definitely want a nice big tank for its sweepers though.

Yeah, the chat is basically open any time and I invite anyone to set up a topic and post it here. All we need is a time and topic and we are set to go. I jump in to the chatroom a few times a day just to see who is there and say hello. Its a really nice chatroom and I urge everyone to check...

Easiest Coral for us studying for first purchase

I would even add zoanthids to the list. They are somewhat light-demanding though but pretty hardy in my opinion. Just keep an eye out for 'killer nudis'. Can't go wrong with GSP and a couple shrooms to start off with.
