yasha's are doing great. lost one a month ago, he tried to fly. still have two pairs in the tank. both have seperate cave systems, so they stay on each of the tank. feeding time they all come out. i ahve heard of ppl using a pvc cave system but i just built up my rock so it only had two good...

looks good. excited to see your progress pics. let the evolution begin.... :mrgreen: as for suppliments....rule of thumb, if you dont test for it dont add it. In my opinion if you stick to regular water changes you shouldnt have to suppliment. the water changes will replenish the elements...

i have four rainbows, ten gold tetras, one white platty (left over from last freshwater set-up) and a bunch of different shrimp. oh yeah and a pleco. thanks everyone. this tank does really well since i dont do any water changes or maintenence, just top off. plants grow good , fish are happy and...

i would use fishing line myself but cotton will work too. also can use rubber bands if needed, i have used them in the past and they have worked well too.

i would also go with the frogspawn. plate corals tend to move about and there stings are more potant.

jesse, i have three alpheus randalli pistol shrimp in my tank. surprisingly i only hear clicking once a week or so. this shrimp doesnt have the clicking claw. both claws are pointed. his manurisms are totally different also, he doesnt burrow in the substrate, he lives in the LR. other than what...

i personally use this light. i have one of each. this is also the light i ended up using over my AC fuges.

there are to many variables that decide growth but i know for a fact that it wont happen in a month. more like six months to a year.

i have had this happen before, never found out what the problem was. probably some sort of disease.
