You would NEVER belive what I just got for $9!

OMGOSH...well...you know how I said my parents...never in a MILLION years would EVER let me get another tank....well thats true LOL but Sadie (freind of mine) I was talkin to her and she said that since I wanted damsel fish AND a clown..why dont I just get a 5 and put the clown in their and I could have a damsel or two in the 10..and I said..but my parents wont let me get another tanks ( :anxious ) WELL....today...I was at walmart (I LOVE walmart right now LOL) I was in the pet section just "looking" cause my mom was getting stuff and I was bored and I came accross this AQUA-TECH 5 gall will bio weel filter in the hood and 8 watt flourecent light in the hood as well for $9.00 well needless to say I about lost my head. :loveface .and funtion of my feet cause I about fell flat on my butt! The retail price on these babies are $39.97!! So I find mom (well err she finds me) and she say's ABSOLUTELY NOT and I go please NO NO NO NO NO NO NO..what would you put in it? ( :iill ) I say..clown fish..she say's NO NO NO NO..you are going to make you 10 gall salt right..I said..ya..she goes..NO...I go...well.... what if I throw the 2 gall out and put the betta in ths (the 2 gall is a piece of crap..I got it at a yard sale for $1 and its pretty GROSS....and after a while of sweet talk she say's..you payin for it? I go HECK YES ( I had $11 cause im still in debt for my camera so I can take pics of my nano when I get it!)...and im thinking..sure..I will have the betta in their....till she is no longer with me ( :cryinga: ) (She is already like 3 years old) but I dont want her to die..she has been with me ever since i got into the hobby....so im going to be sad when I loose her! (its a female betta) then I will make it a nano reef (kinda like I wanted a pico reef.. I will just get a new light!) HEHEHE here are pics! I just used water from my 29 gall! so its ready to put the fishie in! (bio is used to)




I had to get this! the cat is checkin it out!


and what its like right now...im putting the fish in later!

sweet tank and a nice deal :D

however, i started with that exact tank and i liked it at first but it gets scratched easy...
also, the filtering and lighting systems are useless, but it is great as a betta tank :D

ya... if/when I make it a nano reef... I will DEFF. upgrade both!...a lot LOL but for $9...I mean they had a 1 gall in their for like $9.97 or something.. this one was just flat $9 LOL I was like :shock: gota have it LOL

:lol: really you funny freshboy :lol:.... and well at least you gonna be able to keep something good in this tank too bad you already added those fake stuff cause i was gonna say add just ARGONITE LIVE SAND & LIVE ROCK and then go with one clown that setup will be fine like that and will be stable if you stick with all natural i mean by that livesand & liverock and sticking to 1 fish for now and then maybe get another kind of fish...

P.S: what a deal really even if is not that great for a saltwater tank it will be useful as quaranteen tank.. :mrgreen:
