does'nt sound like any of the common worms.
does it have any spikes or a disernable head?

no it dont think it has i got a pic of it befor it scarpered in to the main tank.

The picture is really blurry but it kinda looks like a bristle worm. Are there any hairs along the sides? If so, are they long or short? Have you been able to watch it crawl around rockwork/glass or has it disappeared?

Generally these are considered a good part of the CUC. I'd just leave it be (also be sure not to pet it, the hairs are mildly poisonous).

agreed Its the good kind the baddies are brite red. no touchy though, spines hurt BAD.
