Just trying to get an idea if any nanotank members would be interested in taking part in an organized chat session. I think 9 PM central time would be good to account for both coasts. Hopefully, we could get someone with topic insight/experience to the particular theme to serve as sort of as session leader.

So let me know if you would be interested and what subject matters would be good. Once we figure out the topic, then we can decide on a day.

:thanks

I choose inverts. It just happens to be a subject that I would like to get some more information on. Even if that isn't what is chosen, count me in.

interested in a lot of diff subjects. I'm in. Clams are interesting to learn about and learn of their needs, and also the things that can make them sick. I'd like to learn more about the exotic shrooms like Yumas, and what makes them so hard to care for. Something more to learn about are the Acan Lords, and Blastos that make people go crazy to get.

I'm also into diff types of shrimps and what they like to eat, and how they get along with others.

Hopefully I may learn more about them talking about it with you guys and learning more about what you guys/gals are inquiring about.

Chat? I used to do that. :D

If you plan on scheduling a chat with a specific topic, be sure you have mods in place to keep it on topic. Chat rooms tend to lose focus rather quickly, which I'm sure you already know.

So it looks like the first ever Nanochat will be focus on inverts. Now we just need to find someone to lead the discussion and figure out a day to do it. I still think 9pm central time would be best.

Welcome to the site. As long as you're willing to do the research, and be patient you'll do just fine. Use the search function on this and other boards when you can before asking questions. Odds are the question has been answered several times before. The folks on this board are still friendly about it, but I got flamed a few times on other boards for asking common questions without looking first.

Congrats on starting into the hobby. It's addictive as can be, but it's also very rewarding.
