White tubes ... ID Please

All -

Noticed these white tubes on some LR the other day .. They always appear on the same rock, and one day they are there and the they are gone, but a few days later there are more.

At first I thought they might be worm tubes, but on closer inspection I think it might be waster or excrement from an LR dwelling worm - although I have never actually seen him.

The second pic is just a overview of my tank in week 3 of cycling.

Any help is much appreicated.

Kinda hard to tell but it looks like a Mini Feather Duster Tube or possibly a worm Tube from one sort of worm or another.

Is anything resembling a "Fan" or a couple of thin "string" looking things coming out of the tubes? If so and you could snap a good close up this would help considerably...

I do have a feather duster on the rock above the one where tubes are lying ... He is out almost all the time. The tubes however don't move, nothing ever comes out of them - and although they are laying in front of a hole they don't actually go into the hole. The definitely appear to be dead - Would the feather duster I do have change or expel his tube perhaps ? His tube is pretty well inside of a rock so all I can ever see is his fan.

Thank you for the help

Sometimes they will shed their fan when stressed and die leaving behind an empty tube. Since nothing is comming out of the tube I would venture to say it once was a feather duster of one sort or another that was once on the rock.
