Which corals are good for beginners?

I currently have a FOWLR tank, but may want to venture into more of a reef tank down the road. I was wondering which corals are easier for a beginner? Mushrooms, polps, or soft corals? I have a 12 gallon aquapod. Thanks!

Mushrooms and zoos are great and easy to take care of. I think that is where most people start off. that's where I started.

Good luck and keep us posted on what you go with. Also...... If you can restrain your self, try to research the corals and understand their needs before you purchase them. It will save you some headaches. Some of them have some very speicific needs.
