When is a good time to test Parameters?

I was just wondering is it best to check them after the lights have been running or once they turn off? Will different times of day, give me different readings? Thanks in advance!

When I was cycling my tank, I checked the params in the evenings.

You will get different readings at different times. Check at the same time with the same conditions if you want to track something. Otherwise just make a note of what time and if lights were on or off.

The biggest change in reading according to time is in pH. I agree to try and do all of your testing at about the same time so you can better track any trends in your tank.
