Im thinking of getting a 24gallon nano, whats the best size do you reckon for a newby?

And what sizes do you have? :)

Well, the bigger the tank (the more water volume), the more stable it is. I like 20 gallon long tanks personally. These measure somwhere around 30"Lx12"Wx12"T.

The all-in-one tanks have the one downfall of not allowing many different upgrades... lighting, filtration, etc. Basically, you are stuck with what you get.

also the bigger the tank the more money it costs.......more live rock, bigger lights, bigger filteration,.....ect.

IMO its a matter of how much you are willing to spend, how much space you have, what kinds of fish and corals you want to keep. First decide on the fish and corals, if there is something you just gotta have then this may help you determine the minimum sized tank you can have. You will also help to determine you lighting needs with the corals you want to keep, some corals require alot more lighting than others. When you have made these determinations you will want to buy the best equipment you can afford, this will help you keep from having to upgrade everything in a few months.

Thanx, Well me and my partner have a 6 x 2x2x so i no how expensive it is, erm now we have it set up how we want is actually the cost is not that bad...

But anyway as i am wanting to go smaller and do this project on my own, I think personally a smaller tank will be harder to keep, i dont no i have this thing in my head, the bigger the tank the eaiser it is to look after....

I've just had an offer on a house so hehe!!! I'll wait till i move!!
