im thinking about buying a timer for my coralife light, but i was just
wondering whats a good one to buy.....

hey mike...since i want to be able to control my white/actinics/and moon light separately, would that mean i would have to purchase 3 timex timers?

i have been using one that i bought at home depot....just a plan digital timer. i think it was like 12 bucks...i was going to invest in the coralife power/timer strip but i think im going to wait until i have enough money to buy a reef keeper.

I use grounded Intermatics from Home Depot or Lowes. I think they run about $15-20 each but well worth it.

I don't have a link, but I think Target sells some digital timers by their power strips for like $15 or so. I used to use digital Intermatic wall-switch timers but they don't like to work that great after a year or so. And they're expensive. Around $30 each.

The Reef Keeper is the best, does water currents, heater, chiller/fan, sump and lights. Very great investment.

Before that I used plain digital timers from Target around $12.99. Since they don't come with a ground, I had to purchase adapters which were only 49 cents.

The neat thing about the timex timer is that it has multiple settings for one day. Whereas other timers just turn off or on for one day.

P.S
I have about 10 timex digital timers if you would like to buy a couple I'll get them out; $5.00 per timer. Since I have the reef keeper I don't need them anymore.
