I voted something else but not cos i don't like your idea, i just like some movement in the tank, and shrimps aren't enough imo. Why not try finding a scooter who eats everything, great little characters...

My vote is for the sexies or a combination of sexies and some other invert, I like this because it doesn't add alot to the bioload. You could always add something like a porcelin or anemone crab, pom-pom crab, cleaner shrimp or fire shrimp, etc.
I don't care for the idea about having to put a big old starfish in the tank just for food so I would vote against the harlequin but thats JMO.

Yeah, like skip mentioned, skip the harlequin... their diet is LIVE starfish! It is really a shame seems how they are my favorite looking shrimps.

Brandon,

From what I noticed the sexies are probably going to be the winner. Almost everyone likes them. I'm game for them.

I don't mean to hijack your thread but does anyone know a distributor of small starfish as a food source?

On topic: I love the sexies too. But I've seen a picture of the Pom Pom crab and it's very cool looking! Not sure if they can live together but it's just another idea.

I have a pom pom and they ARE great. Be warned that you will only see it when you feed your fish (occasionally) and at night.
