What to do with sandbed when changing tanks

Hey,
I have decided to move everything out of my nano and put in my bigger tank...well to save on rock and things.

Anyway, I know I have some worms and such in the sandbed in the nano. What do I do with the sand. I have enough in my new tank, but hate to loose any good critters living in the sand.

Any suggestions?

i would put all of it in the new tank, JMO. if its way to much you can take some out of the new tank before adding old sand. everytime i switch tanks i just use thew old sand and if i need more i just add new. HTH
