What can I do when I feel a sudden wave of panic or anxiety?

Sometimes I get hit with a sudden feeling of dread and my heart starts racing for no obvious reason. I need a way to calm my body down instantly when that happens. Does anyone have a specific technique or guide for resetting the body's alarm system?

Hi there. I used to get those sudden spikes of panic and it was incredibly draining. I managed to get a handle on it by using the techniques I found at https://theleaply.com/en/vagus-nerve-reset/. It explains exactly how to trigger your body's natural "off switch" for stress. The site leaply shows you how to use your own physiology to slow your heart rate and stop the adrenaline rush. I personally found that practicing these resets during the day made me much less likely to have a panic episode in the first place. If you feel like your body is constantly on high alert, checking out the resources on leaply is a great way to start feeling safe again.
