So I wanted a moonlight but I did not want to pay for one, so I searched to buy a few LED's online. I happended across www.sunled.com and what do you know, they send free samples!!!! So I asked for 3 super bright blue ones, (I searched there online catalog and used the part #) I also added a request for qoute, to make it look like I not just after the 3. A day later they came in the mail.
So now I looked for my old cell phone charger, knowing I needed a 4-6 volt source, a cell phone charger is perfect. Next door to me at work is a electronics manufacturer, I went over and asked for a 150ohm 1/4 amp resistor, and i offered to pay, he said only if you have half a penny, they only cost .005 a piece. So now I get home and take apart my light hood, drill 3 4mm holes. solder them up, and free moonlights!!!! Since they are not to bright I will just leave them on 24/7, with my VHO lights timed.
Now I'm happy to be cheap.
