Is there a such thing as too much water flow? I just put in a max jet 1200 in my 12gal nanocube and stuff is just flying! What do you think?

You can use a spray bar or split the flow with a "y" to help diffuse the flow. There really isnt such thing as too much flow as long as it is dispersed properly.

Hope that helps.

Yeah a "Y" will be nice but also look into a HYDOR FLO i love it cause of the wave motion but well i have bouth in my tank the extra out take on the left with a "Y" and the Hydor flo on the main out take.. so see what u decide...and well corals love nice flow just as jesse said just needs to be despersed properly...

Thank you so much for the input. Things seem to be doing better now. I was really concerned about everything closing up. But now I guess they are adjusting to the new flow. Its not very attractive looking, but seems to be working great. I am having hair algae issues, so I'm hoping this will help.
