Here's a couple new shots. I removed the cool mushroom on the left side after it ate my new red headed goby.

That exotic thing I assume is the harlequin. How big is the one you got, and how big do they get? What do you feed it?

In the pico I'm getting I'm planning on getting a bunch a cool shrimps like the sexy, anenome, and the bumble bee shrimp.

On another note: sorry to hear of the cool mushroom eating a fish, a red headed goby...that's crazy! How did you know it ate it, did you see half of it's body sticking out of it or something? Or did you see it spit up the remains...

I'm feeding the harlequin about one starfish a month-3wks at this point. I started off with a pair of them, and was feeding them every couple weeks, but one disappeared, and I moved this one into the smaller work tank, so I cut back. So far so good.

I don't really think of them as all that exotic. They're available here 2-3 times a year. I was very excited that I found a mated pair for $50. However one of them went missing about a week after I got them. I had them in the 25g tank with the dwarf lion. The lion is way to small to eat one of these guys and the only thing I could think of was that it stumbled into the tube anemone. I moved the remaining one into the work tank, and it's done fine for several months now. They don't really get too much bigger than it is now. The Hawaiian version tends to get a little bit bigger and the coloration tends to be more pink/white rather than blue/white.

I came back from lunch on Wednesday to find the mushroom all balled/ballooned up like it had caught something to eat. I feed the tank very sparingly, and hadn't fed it that day, so I was sort of surprised. I started looking around and couldn't find the goby. I watched the tank on and off for the next several hours, then the next day as well. Sure enough the goby was gone. Both the sexy shrimp are still there, so I'm making an educated guess that is what happened to the goby.

Man, that tank is looking good. Where'd you pick up those blue/purple rics at the bottom?

I've been stocking it very slowly. A piece here and there. My wife decided she wanted to tear down her 10g, so I took a few of the pieces that she had and added them. I've been meaning to start adding some kind of watermark to my photos for awhile, as several of them have been used for different companies banners and things. So far folks have been very cool about asking first, but it got me to thinking about friends that have had their photos stolen. I'm not all that worried about it honestly though since I'm not trying to make any money with my pics. However I downloaded a new freeware image processing program the other day and one of the things it does pretty well is batch processing. I was testing it out on some new images, and forgot to reprocess them without the text. Now I've got a handful of images that have that stamp on them. :)

I think I got them from city pets a long time ago. They weren't doing real well in my home tank so I moved them and the blue ones that are up top in the tank and they've been happy as can be.

Incysor,

Your new pics are really nice... It reminded me of my SPS tank when I saw a florida ric at the bottom next to the green/purple yuma... Did you see my pic of my tank?
