IMG_0017.jpg IS aipatsia, kill it.

IMG_0024.jpg is some sort of LPS that looks like it is going to die off.

IMG_0019.jpg is a sponge. IMG_0022.jpg is likely a sponge too.

IMG_0015.jpg is a crab that may or may not be reef safe. It is probably next to impossible to catch him though.

I'm not sure what IMG_0018.jpg is, but you will probably want to kill it just in case.

He mentioned that cause the requirement for that type of coral is strong light and a good flow thats all but it might make it if you update your lights but anyways looks like has some nice coloration..

Reefman, why do you say the coral will die off?
I just mentioned that because the skeleton almost appears to be pushing through the tissue. If you notice the tissue inflating or looking more "fleshy", then there is a chance that it will pull through. It is just that in that pic, it looks like it is on it's way out. I hope it lives though...

yeah, especially since I can't get any live animals shipped to hawaii, and none of the LFS sell coral, or even tank cleaners for that matter.....

Guess I'm going to get good at diving.....

Wow, that sucks. I guess I never thought of Hawaii as being a hard place to get livestock. Amazing.. I feel for ya. Will they let you legally collect specimens from local waters?

Yeah, I can get live stock from the ocean, but some stuff isn't that easy to catch. For instance, I have a aiptasia problem, but can't get a peppermint shrimp, and I doubt I could find one while diving.

Well, at least you have the ocean to enjoy. That kinda trumps most of us reef geeks.
