to many pods?

I have so many pods in my tank right now. Can I have to many? I had a 5 gallon pod farm that I started during a collection trip. We could remove sheets of nasty alage and you could easily fill up a cup with pods only. Any way i took some this alage and put it in a dark tank so it would die off. the results was that i was left with hundreds of pods and mysis. I threw them in my tank and they just keep growing in numbers. At night my rocks look like they are moving but its just pods. They range from monsters to tiny.

I don't think you could have too many because the population will be in line with what your tank can support, the rest would die off. Skip

Im thinking new pod culture tank and a madrin  .

Hooterhead do you ever go to galveston? There are some spots where you could spend 5 minutes and have more pods than you could ever want.

I don't think you can have too many pods. You might be able to get away with you're mandarin/podtank plan if you can readily restock your supply of pods.

I think if i can catch a bunch of mine and get a 15 gallon tank going i should be able to get enough pods to harvest monthly for a madrin.

I wish I had that issue. I used to have tons but lately they are hard to find in my tank. I would get a mandrin if I had a bigger tank or could start a pod tank I love those fish.
