Tire Reef???????

did no one even test this on a small scale? I mean seriously, tires are as porous as a diamond. Not only that but any steel or nylon will quickly deteriorate in salt water (I can't say for certain about tire rubber). Someone should have hit them over the head for even thinking of it.

We have a tire reef off our coast here in NC and every bad storm we are out there picking up the tires ...While diving the only thing I have found in the tires have been stone crabs
