Yeah Jem, sally's are algae mucnhing machines. :cool1: The epoxy you use, make sure it's meant for use in aquariums. Holdfast and Aquastick are both safe to use. It won't work well on GSP though - glue gel works best.

It sounds like it is necessary to remove the coral from it's current attachment and use the glue gel to attach it to the back of the tank. - I'm still a nubie so please bear with me. If this is the case, what is the best way to remove the coral from it's current attachement?

Yep, you'll have to remove it. Easiest way is to find a place where the mat isn't really attached and slowly peel it back from there. You can use a razor blade to start it, and help it along.

Just pull it out and work in the air as quickly as you can. If it starts taking several mintues then you want to try to move to a shallow bucket or something so the polyps can stay submerged in saltwater for as much of the process as possible.
