Tank & Electricity Bill?

Everyone,
Has anyone calculated how much their monthly cost in electricity is? In setting up my tank I was curious to know if anyone had knowledge on the most efficient equipment to keep cost lower. Or is it all pretty much a crap shoot? I won't be using MH lights and it's a smaller tank, so no huge banks of PC lighting. I'll be using a pump and a SCWD for waveaction and a heater, but I live in San Diego so for the most part the weather here should be in the 70's for most of the year (ok, that's a lie but it's something we like to perpetuate).

With no MH and not any big pumps on a small tank, odds are you will not notice that much of an increase.

I have 70w MH & 32W PC & I didn't notice an increase.

This is why I'm glad my homeowner's fees go toward my water and electric bill :lol: But seriously, with just PCs I bet you will not see any difference at all.

I was just curioius...I won't be using much electricty anyhow...no AC, no heat, just a few lamps with florescent tubes..most of my friends in the same situation hav ebills under $20 a month for utes. I will probably notice something, but if I get the tanks setup shortly after moving in, I"ll never know that the baseline non-tank is! hee hee, one of the perks to SD.
