Sunpod Q's

Ok...so I'm wanting to transfer my 10gl contents over to a 15gl and upgrade my lighting from a 80watt Orbit to a 150watt Sunpod, I want the versatility to be able to try SPS or a clam with the light, but I currently have a lot of softies. Will this light fry the softies? I'm planning on acclimating them really well...light high, 3 sheets of screen, remove one a week, etc. I may even make a little rock bridge or something that will provide shade, if I can pull it off.

What I have: Xenia, Ricordia, GSP, Yellow Polyps, Frogspawn, Purple Plate.

Your plan to acclimate sounds ok to me. Our tank inhabitants can actually acclimate to a wide variety of parameters. Just go slow and you should be fine. Maybe just have them down low and slowly move them up after all the screens are gone.

A !5g is 24" long right? So if have a single 150 watter on that then the ends will be pretty shaded and should help with acclimation... Start by placing the corals and the ends of the tank and move them slowly towards where you want them.
