I haven't visited all of the LFS's in Houston yet but i'm sure I will very soon. Out of what's available in the Houston area, who has the best SPS frags available? Best as in price, coloration, selection, and knowledge of species.

thanks for the info.

individuals have the best color, price, selection, and knowledge.
To name the ones with the most it seems:
Kevin Ngo - ReefALot (on Marsh), kevinn (RC)
Edward - Invincible569 (both Marsh and RC)
Quoc - Fishcraze (both Marsh and RC though RC may have numbers behind name)
Steve Japp (Mandoman on Marsh, RC, and Exotic Reefs)

Others I don't know as well:
Naka (maybe)
Narkon (fast learner, can get answers)

Many others have frags, but it is to be said weither they are raising them correctly, of if they have color, or thier selection is low.

Stores: for Bali aquacultures - almost all of them,
frags = only stores that I know of: City Pets, Village, T&T
City Pets = don't know how well they are doing
Village = ORA frags, most the time browned a little aready
T&T = kinda over priced compared to whole small bali colonies

Fish Planet says she gets hers from other places beside Bali

How big of frags are we taking, and none of the stores carry the rares.

Hope you understood my organizing.

Sure.

I was going to add to that post; Are there any individuals in our area that sell SPS frags? I know there are some very nice SPS tanks in the Houston area.

Going to start with a few Acros and then go from there.

Thanks

Kevin is definitely the person to talk to. He's a great guy, does fantastic custom acrylic work, and usually has quite a few frags available. He lives in Pearland.

Well, i'll have to meet him sometime. I need a tank built this summer and it looks like he'll be a good candidate.

Thanks everyone.
