howdy yall, heres some more pics of my updated setup with the new LR and actinic bulb. is that really a zoa of some sort living on my snail? right now im looking at it and it looks like the zoa has is polyps or tentacles or wahtever you call them out!

no more brown algae! props to the astrea snails!

and at laest my little host snail...doesnt look like the polyps are out...i tried to get a pic of them out but my camera sucks!

so what do yall think? i know my camera kinda sucks, and im not real proficient in using it so work with me here. need mroe LR? or sand? a new arrangement? i really like it the way it is now....though i think a little more sand wouldnt hurt.

Looks good. what are some specs? What kind of lights, filtration, what do you plan on stocking? Look forward to seeing your tank grow!

its a 20H.... about 22-23 lbs LR, about 18 lbs sand, 2 aquaclear 50 PH, maxijet 600 PH, aquaclear 50 filter thats serving as a refugium for now untill i get a big aquaclear or figure something else out, coralife 18" actinic, coralife 24" 50/50 65 watt... im gonna put a 6 line in there, then more than likely a goby/pistol shrimp combo, then something else, either a blenny or pseudo like an orchid, i dunno yet. as for inverts, im looking at a skunk cleaner, 2 or 3 sexy shrimp, i have 10 astrea and 5 cerith, and i will ad 5 nassarius and 10 blue leg hermits
