Well, I have searched(hopefully completely) and am curious if anyone uses a software program to monitor parameters, livestock, etc. If so, which one and do you like it.

If you have the Office suite then you can build a quick database in Access. I built one once but I was horrible at keeping it updated so it never was used.

I just keep track of stuff in Excel.... i.e. dates I add new stuff, parameters when I test, etc. That way if anything goes crazy, I have a record.

I'm liking reefcon also. Can't get the database to update. Suppose that is the way to get me to by the pro version. Now all we need is a good palm version. Thanks

So what about the big dogs

Well, I guess nobody really uses software to keep up on tank parameters. Or maybe they all use access. I guess I was hoping someone had used, say "aquapilot" or some other software and thought it was the cat's whiskers.

I got a program called aquatrac for my palm. I managed to keep it up for about 2 weeks. After that I stopped entering in data. There was nothing wrong with the program at all. I'm just too lazy to use it.

check out another nano-reef maintenance site. It even gives you graphs and upload pics. Free, free, free! I believe the address is something like...www.stugotz.net/log/index.cfm?[/url]
