Snow in South Texas

Well after 15-20 years, we have snow in South Texas. Can you believe it, on Christmas Eve to boot.
We were having a casual company getogther in my office earlier today and one of the drivers said that 'hell was actually going to freeze over!', (in passing non the less). Not long after that my son received a call at my office from his grandmother and he promptly told her that.....'hell was actually going to freeze over!' ](*,) Needless to say, I had some explaining to do to MY mother!
Just a funny and thought I would pass it along! Everyone have a Merry Christmas, and please stay safe!

Apparently we had little flurries here this morning but I must have missed it. According to the weather channel, we should be getting another wave of sleet/snow later today. Haven't seen that here in Houston is a very long time!

Jennie, forget about the ski's break out the sled instead. Looks like a nice white christmas over there!! Merry Christmas!!

Sweet. That's way more than we got here in Houston. It was cool driving through it this evening. There's about an 1/8th of an inch stuck on the grass/cars out at my folks house in the suburbs. Nothing stuck at our place though.

i am in new york visiting my parents (i live in texas) and cant believe all of Texas had a white xmas and new york didnt!! :x
