Sick Mushroom

I came home from work today, I found my mushroom in a bad condition. My tank is 12 gallons. He has been just fine until yesterday. I added some Phytoplankton, PHYTOPLAN ADVANCED DIET, by Two Little Fishies. I used a turkey baster, and gently squeezed a stream of it over the shroon. Is it possible that I damaged the mushroon? Hope the picture is clear enough.

I checked water conditions and they were as follows.
calcium 420
carbonate 7 dkh
phosphates approx. .25 to 0
nitrate o
nitrate o
salinity 1.021
temp 78 degrees

I added 3 snails, 3 hermit crabs, and a clown fish two days ago. So totally I have 6 blue legged crabs, 3 snails, 2 peppermint shrimp, and a clown fish. All seemed to be doing just fine. Any ideas what might have happened?

I dosed last night around 8:00pm PST and when I got home from work around 6:00pm tonight is when I found him like that. It has not been 24 hours but I don't know exactly when it happened.

How long have you had any fish or inverts in the tank and how long has it been set up? Did you happen to test for ammonia? How is it looking today?

I added the fish just a few days ago. The mushroom and a small crab (looks like a porcelain crab have been in there since Dec 26th. I added 2 peppermint shrimp and three blue legged crabs a couple of weeks ago. Along with the clown fish I added three more blue legged crabs and 3 A. snails. I have not done an ammonia test.

He really looks sick to me, the picture looks better than he does. He usually is standing taller and spread out more. Now he is kind of shriveled
up and looks like he has tears. Also his color is much darker than normal. I hope that he is just digesting, this is really the first bad day I have had with this tank.

BL crabs could be tormenting him when the lights are out. Mine likes to bother my mushrooms and my zoos sometimes.
