Arent shrimps and crustaceans used to colder temps rather than warm? Infact if it does get too cold dont they hybernate? Anyway, I was reading about the part where your nitrates shouldnt read zero.....I didnt know that.....
As for the shrimp landing on its back, I suggest you go to an LFS instead of Petco...I dont want to break it to you but I dont think its going to make it.... a few months back I bought a goby and a clownfish at petco on different occasions, both died within 3 days. A friend of mine bought a yellow tang and it too croaked in a week.
