Seachem Aqua Vitro line

Hello children,
I am still a relative newbie (24 JBJ nano started in Dec) and get so dang confused with all the additives, so aside from calcium, I really try to avoid making chemical soup in my tank as much as possible. However, this weekend I attended a reef fest where a Seachem employee lectured on chemisty and broke down all the products in the Aqua Vitro line. I was pretty interested and then I ended up actually winning the entire set in a raffle (I won a butt ton of other stuff, too. I'm going to Vegas!)
So. Who uses it, which one, and can I get a witness?
Stupid question, but I use RO water, so is Alpha even necessary for me?
I am REALLY excited about Fuel. I'm just excited in general because it is so eaaaassssy to use.
Thanks for your comments!

I like Seachem and I've used many of their products in the past. Unfortunately, I've never used the Aqua Vitro stuff. I've found that simple water changes with a good salt mix keep my tiny 6 gal pretty darn happy.

The Reef Fest thing sounds pretty fun. What was is called? What else did you win?

Reef Fest is absolutely amazing. My LFS sponsors it (also amazing). It's a full day of free food, free lectures (this year we had a Seachem rep on water chemistry and coral nutrition, and Paul Whitby a magical fellow who spoke on fragging) and, you can pay to frag. It's $35 or $45 depending on if you are a member of the Razorback Reef club and you get to take home 3 frags. Afterwards, there's usually an excess of frags you can have for $5.

This year we had acans and duncans, so we all got a number and when your number was called, you picked which of the 2 you wanted. There were also blue zoas, montipora, blue chalice, and acorpora. They try to have a little something for everyone.

Anyways, the Seachem set was my prized possession, but I also got a hydrometer, a weird net catch and bag thing, a shirt, a pump of some foreign make, a wave maker that I'm still trying to figure out, 6 (?!?!?!?!?) bottles of freeze dried cyclopeze stuff, and something else which escapes me at the moment. They also gave away 4 RO units, a halide ballast, a pendant, multiple lights, a JBJ nano, a reef-ready, fully equipped 29 g, and other magical things. I'm just stoked I got something.
The store also had a drawing for a beautiful Osaka tank.

Now that you've heard everything and more than you could possibly want to know, how often and how much do you do your water changes? What's in it?! A 6 g is far beyond my capacity! Where can I find pics?!

BTW, Portland is absolutely amazing. I'm jealous you're there!

Schism - SeaChem does make great products. And the Vitro line is their latest and greatest, but... It is mostly a marketing ploy. By making it available only in the brick and mortar stores, they are using it as a product that the LFS can use to hook the customer and keep them shopping with the LFS. Don't get me wrong - I love the idea! I had a store until about a year ago, and love doing everything I can to keep business local and away from Dr. Foster and his buddy, or That Fish Placebo, or... Don't get me wrong there, either - I've shopped online, too. But please support your LFS. They really are what keeps the hobby going. And half the time, your LFS can beat or match online prices if they want to. I had a customer come in once bragging about the slamming deal they got from an online shop for a nano-cube. I showed them my setup that I had at the same price. They argued that they got a free stand. I countered with no shipping. The over $500 deal would have only cost about an extra $10 in my shop, and I might still be in business. Now they have no one to haggle with, no one local to help with when they have a late night crash, etc...

Sounds like you already have a great LFS and good raport there. Keep it up. That makes me poroud.
