wow :shock: does are great news scarlet still alive.... is alive is alive.. :lol: now patience wait for cycle and then let the party begin... a good advice that i got from sadye on stocking is get something then a week later get other thing if you want to and so on so you give your bacteria time to adapt to new commers.... really helps on nitrates....

I am still a little...well a lot in disarray about this cycle thing. I guess its gonna be best to just keep taking my daily measurements...at worse every other day measurements until I am positive I have had a cycle and I know its safe to proceed.

Exactly...measure every other day, and then wait a week or two after you think the cycle is over. This will allow for a little time for your tank to stabilize before adding anything to the bioload.

I wouldn't test every day, it will seem like it takes forever that way, just test every couple of days.
