Rena Tank

Hi!
I have a rena tank measuring 47 inch by 24inch by 19inch curently housing malawi ciclids the tank is filtered by ehiem professional 2 filter i have purchased a luminaire with 4 white t5s and a red sea prism skimmer will this setup be suitable for a nano reef system

That's a 90 gallon tank, you could certainly make a superb reef set-up with it--but I doubt if you could call it nano :mrgreen:
If you add around 150 lbs of live rock, more or less, that and the skimmer will handle your filtration needs.
You can probably retire the Eheim, or use it minus its bio media for mechanical filtration and water movement.
210W of HO T5s should give you plenty of light to grow many corals, but you might want to swap two of the white bulbs for actinics.

Decided not to bother with rena tank have bought a 75 litre aquaone 510 which is filling now filling up (must get a bigger r/o unit) just wondering how long do i leave it before i add live rock. my local shop recommends 8kg of live rock is this ok

If you don't have any fish in the tank you can put the live rock in right away and let it complete its cure and cycle the tank. That's the best way to do it.
Your 75L tank is 20 USG and the normal recommendation is from 1 to 2 lbs LR per gallon, so 8 kg is down at the bottom end of this range, but probably OK.
