Which setup do you guys think i should go with?
1) the new JBJ nanocube HQI 29gallon
http://www.nanotuners.com/product_i...d=435&osCsid=12b4d6c55ff85dda4b1c3bb42575c04a

2) or the red sea max?

im looking to get a decent setup as an upgrade from my biocube 14...
my little clown needs a bigger home,
and then ill have an excuse to buy more corals :langle
ive heard that the nanocubes are easier to modify, but
the red sea max seems to be a decent competitor..
space is a big issue however.
and id really like to still have a bed in my room hahah

which setup do you guys think is better?
or do you guys think i should try and setup a custom on my own?
do you have any other tank suggestions/ideas for me?
please keep in mind i dont have much room for a sump.

thanks guys

Maybe a little late but I would build my own tank. Or atleast buy the tank and stand then put what accessories in that I want. Most pre-fab tanks don't have what I'm looking for in equipment.

thanks, youre not late :)

i would build my own tank,
but i really have no idea/experience in this//
so i can see how it would ever work out if i tried to build a custom setup.

i think im going to go with the jbj,
it will be more aestetic than me building/customizing a setup..

the equipment i would need wouldnt be too demanding.
my only plans are to keep my single ocellaris clownfish healthy/happy

thanks again for your votes guys

I think you'll be happy with the JBJ. That would be my choice for that size AIO tank. The Red Sea is cool, but when Ive checked them out I have been a little disappointed with the lighting, the built-in timer (what happens when it takes a dump ((which by the way it looks like a cheap timer))), and Im not too sure about the skimmer.

BC29...

I think that customized nanocube is a real rip off.

I bought my bc29 with stand for 299.99 out the door (I've seen it for that same price many places)

I installed a tunze skimmer (which works incredibly well, and I'm sure is far better than the one included in that package-and the tunze allows the cube to still look totally stock with the hood on).

I have not upgraded my lighting from stock yet, but I'm sure you'd be able to get what you want and still come out on top seeing as that one is 549 + 129 for the stand. (lighting is probably going to be my next mod)

just my two cents.

yeah the lighting is metal halide, 150w or something.
so lighting isnt going to be a problem.

thanks for the info about the skimmer.
i do water changes every saturday so water quality isnt too much of a problem...

i know i could get a nicer normal looking tank for less,
but theres something about the cubes that im drawn to.
it must be the futuristic space glass or something hahah
