Hey reefers,

Can I get an opinion from all of you?

What heater would you place in a six gallon nano? The Visitherm 25 watt or 50 watt. This is the black stealth heater.

or

They are the same price, I just don't know if I should get the 50 watt and there is more heat, as I want to minimize any heat issues.

Would a 25 watt do the job adequately?

Or would you go with the ebo-jagger 50 watt? It's a little longer than the visistherm; 8 inch vs 9.25 inches.

They say the ebo-jagger is fully submersible, I'm not sure?

Any opinions?

thanks,

Mike

Mke,

I used a 50W Finnex Titanium Heater for my 6 gallon cube, which performes flawless and it's very accurate. I still use it to stabilize water temperature for my water changes.

I also own the MarineLand 50 watt stealth, which I use in my quarantine tank, and I consider one the best heaters I've ever owned.

Have never owned the Visitherm, so couldn't give you any feedback on that one, but the two I've listed above so far have worked like a charm.

I hope it helps

The finnex looks great but it's +/- 2 degrees, that's a major distractor. The ebo-jagger is only +/- .5 degrees, that's better precision, especially in a 6 gallon tank.

I went with the 50 watt stealth heater. It's +/- 1 degree and it's only 8 inches long. On top of that, it's black and made of hard plastic and not glass.

It would conceal well in my nano tank....
