Does anyone know wether or not Blastomussa Merletti and acanthastrea lordhowensis can stay under PC bulbs? I have 384 watts 50/50 bulbs that are PC for my 66 gallon tank and the top of the LS to the light is about 2 feet, but my aquascape can get the coral as close as 8-12 inches. Or is it better to not even think of these corals due to being more suitable with Halides. Thanks

24" tall is a little deep for PC's, but I think that they would be fine. they are a deeper water species and arent necessarily a high-light coral. You can supplement their diet with small krill or brine shrimp.

HTH,

Jesse

ps. if anything, just move them towards the top of the tank.
