Hi everyone my question for today is does anyone tried purigen before they say is a good stuff to pair with chemi pure.......

and also is there a way to measure the gph cause i just got a hydor flo conbined with a maxijet 900 but i dont feel to much pressure so i want to know how much of gph im getting to see if is enough or that ill need a stronger one.

i read in reefcentral about it and they say that is really strong all that and having some splash problems but i dont ... im the opossite i wish more flow came out of the hydor flo...... they only way i see that the flow has improve is with my chambers they get low really fast and i see water flow in each chamber really fast better than before with the minijet606 .... so cause of that i have to put my surface skimmer really low so i get enough water in chambers maybe im getting alot of flow but i dont realize it... but is great product i can see the wave affect on my tank....

The hydor flo doesn't give you the same type of stream of water, it is more spread out so it doesn't feel like as much water is coming out of it as there actually is. You are probably getting close to the max tha the MJ900 puts out (230 gph if I recall correctly) it just isn't coming out in as small of a stream so it feels likw there is alot less flow.
I have never tried to pair Purigen with Chemipure but they should be fine together, they are both good products that have similar uses.

yeah that's correctly 230 gph and yeah you might be right about the open stream but even that maybe im getting like 75% of the power of the mj900 but anyways i still have the extra pump running in the main tank so convined they work excellent and about purigen sounds like it helps with the nitrate amonia nitrite and everything .... not having a problem with them but just for a cleaner water....so far im like this

AMONIA 0
NITRITE 0
NITRATE 10
PH 8.0-8.2
GRAVITY .023
TEMPERATURE 78-79.5
