Okay folks here it is. Please don't laugh, I need alot more rock, need to get rid of the background but for now it adds something the tank is lacking (rock, more corals etc) Stuff here is just so expensive that you can only pick up a few things at a time when hubby does not know.... :lol3:

2 ocellaris clowns
1 sexy shrimp
1 blue legger hermit crab
3 types assorted mushrooms
2 large feather dusters (one regrowing its new crown)

And you lead us to believe that it looked bad :eusanaughty . It looks great, very neat and tidy! It's off to a great start, you should be proud of yourself :D

Just a FYI, check out the Frag Swap area, we're in the process of putting together a swap, come join us and get something new for your tank :D

I think you're right in that it needs more rock, but not because it looks barren, but simply because LR is a large part of a tanks filtration/nitrogen process.

Everything looks good though, and it's always nice to see how a tank progresses/matures.

You're off to a good start.

Thanks for the kind words. I would love to join in on a frag swap. Living in Canada does have its draw backs. No coral etc coming in here unless they from a fish store. It is not worth the hassel for me to even attempt to order anything in from the USA. Some of our fish stores here even have a hard time, most of the stuff comes from Vancouver B.C. they feel they should let them do all the hassel stuff and then our stores buy from them and charge poor me a whopping price. But hey, things grow and spread. All the mushrooms you see in my tank are just from one single mushroom. So they did spread nicely for me anyways. We don't have alot of the really neat corals you all get there, mushrooms, polyps, zoos some anemones, dusters, xenia and a few others is all we get.

Anyways, that is okay, I like the mushrooms myself and my lights are not the high tech ones you all have so this fits me just perfect.

By the way, if a Sexy Shrimp lost a leg will this grow back? I know they molt as i have had a shrimp before but just wanting to know about the leg.

Yes it is a PVC pipe. I decided to do this when I seen my crabs tugging and pulling on the dusters. I have found that they grow alot better when they are put into this and standing upright. Just my personal experience.

I also prefer to have the upright rather than lying on the bottom of the aquarium floor.

Sexy Shrimp in your tank

Hey. Looking good. I like that shrimp. What do you feed it? I have a peppermint shrimp and I hardly see it. It's not eating the aiptasia like it's supposed to be doing. N e who you're off to a good start. Keep it up.

Thanks for the compliments, the shrimp is picking up the left over pellets/flakes the fish don't eat but I also give him/her some frozen krill and the odd time a small shrimp pellet.
