Here's something you don't see everyday.

I was experimenting with shooting top-down into the tanks last night and came across this. The first couple are top-down, then a side shot.

Hermit crab battles. Oh....I got the loser another shell and he crawled into it and was fine. :wink:

he was bold to come out of it's shell in search of another. I didn't think they did that unless they were empty or if they pulled it out of it's shell. Was that the case? Was that guy yanked out and he was fighting for a new one? Trippiest thing I've seen, but tight you were able to photograph the episode incysor.

this is my newest addition, the "longhorn hermit crab" Here's some pics.

He also got stuck one time, and it was cool. He came out of his shell, picked up his shell, unstuck his shell, then walked back over and went inside. *smart little booger*

yeah they are hella cool! Lots of personality. Picked him up being he's so unique looking. The next one I'll have to pick up is that anemone crab......he's cool too.

At the LFS, 3 minutes from my house. They had like 3 of them. Ask your lfs to keep an eye for one and hopefully they can get one for you if you are interested.

staghorn costs...

little staghorn cost 24.00. He was the costly crab there, as you know with most crabs they are like 10 bucks. at least they are priced like that here. It was worth it though.
