Personal opinion on companions

I have a Nano12 DX stock ligthing and put crushed live rock for filtration. My tank is cycled and have a small clean up crew. I have 3 mushroom corals 2 green one red. any way I had a dominio damsel in there then got a false perc the damsel got along great with it then started being pissy so I put the domino in a 1 gal. Any way what are some corals I could keep in the nano DX with out doing mods to the lighting? also would a bi-color blennie be a good companion for my false percula?

First of all hopefully you do not have the Domino Damsel in the 1g anymore since that size tank isn't large enough for any fish especially a fish that gets 5-6". Mushrooms, Zoas, Capnella, and Sun coral would be good choices for your tank. A 12 gallon is too small in my opinion to comfortably house a Bicolor Blenny and they have been known to nip corals. I would house a small Goby such as a Clown, Neon, Trimma, Greenbanded, etc. :)

Fist of all :welcome to nanotank, and then well as was expected the damsel got territorial issues just take him back to the LFS they will take it! and well i share perfectblue opinion on the bicolor blenny eventhough you can keep him in the 12g, i knew someone that kept 2 years plus a bicolor until i got it and was with me for 3months cause he went carpet sufing but i really like him he had the algea under controll & alot of personality...

about the corals you can keep all the ones described above, also xenias, frogspawm, toadstoop,clove polyps, GSP, candy canes, christmas tree mmmm and much more but those are the only i can think of ... you can keep them but some will lose color cause of the lack of light but they will still look nice :mrgreen:
